North Iowa Agronomy Partners is currently involved in three Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) projects, although there are many more RCPP projects currently underway throughout the state. Click here to view the Iowa NRCS webpage on RCPPs to learn more about the other RCPP projects going on in Iowa.

What is an RCPP project? From the Iowa NRCS Website: β€œThe Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP) promotes coordination of NRCS conservation activities with partners that offer value-added contributions to expand our collective ability to address on-farm, watershed, and regional natural resource concerns. Through RCPP, NRCS seeks to co-invest with partners to implement projects that demonstrate innovative solutions to conservation challenges and provide measurable improvements and outcomes tied to the resource concerns they seek to address.”

The RCPP projects that North Iowa Agronomy Partners has involvement in are the Iowa Systems Approach to Conservation Drainage (ISACD), the Midwest Agricultural Water Quality Partnership (MAWQP) and the Cedar River Source Water Partnership (CRSWP). See the interactive map below to explore the eligible areas for these RCPPs. For each RCPP map in the interactive viewer, all green watersheds/counties are eligible for that project. The more vibrant green areas represent priority watersheds.
